These nsfw-focused Tumblr replacements (Cumblr, bdsmlr, etc) are cute and all, but they lose a lot of the soon-to-be-former uniqueness Tumblr. I don’t want to go somewhere where every blog and the entire community is (or is at least expected to be) focused on porn, sex, and kink. I want those as options, of course, but I also want to be able to see and enjoy just as much in the way of stupid shitposts and smart political analysis and seasonal aesthetics and food porn and fitness and memes.
This will soon be the former magic of Tumblr. NSFW-focused sites simply can’t replicate it. Sad.
